10 Pounds in 10 Days Basics

It is designed to help you lose ten pounds fast and then continue losing weight over thirty days.

Phase 1

Involves the use of a 900-calorie diet to quickly stimulate weight loss. You will emphasize foods like whole grains and vegetables that are high in fiber and nutrients.

This helps to reduce carbohydrate cravings by keeping your blood sugar levels in balance.

By the end of phase 1 you can expect to have lost up to ten pounds.

Phase 2

This stage allows a 1200 calorie intake daily and introduces you to ten superstar foods. These foods have specific benefits that enhance your weight loss efforts.

For example, asparagus helps the liver eliminate toxins and has a strong anti-inflammatory effect. Brown rice provides manganese, which enhances the synthesis of fatty acids, important for weight loss.

You will also eat cellulite-busting foods such as broccoli, kale and parsley.

Phase 3

The last phase increases your calorie allowance to 1500. You are advised to eat two eggs every day because they are high in protein and fat-burning lecithin.

Warner also offers advice for maintaining your weight loss. This basically entails following the phase 3 diet but with up to two treat meals on the weekend.

¼ cup plain oatmeal
1 walnut
½ liter of cold water

Morning Snack

1 apple
8 almonds
½ liter of cold water

Lunch

2 slices whole-grain bread
¼ medium sliced avocado
1 tablespoon mustard
Spinach and alfalfa sprouts
½ liter of cold water

Afternoon Snack

Craving Control Bar
½ liter of cold water

Dinner

Pan-grilled chicken breast prepared with ½ teaspoon garlic, ½ tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper
3 small new potatoes
1 cup steamed broccoli
½ liter of cold water

Post Dinner

1 bag decaf green tea with 1 bag herbal tea

Exercise Recommendations

    this looks like it would work, im happy thats its not a bunch of calorie counting and stuff(that it tells you what you can and cant eat)! is there a limit on working out?

    I really would love to try this diet, but my blood type is B+ and some of the food recommended I cannot eat, example – Chicken, Bacon, Tomatoes, Avocados.

    What do recommend I replace these foods with?

      Since it says that specifically, you should assume yes, it should be cold.

      The potential weight-loss benefit of cold water is that, when consuming cold water, your body needs to work (burn calories) to bring your core body temperature back up to 98.6 degrees.

        This has never been scientifically proven, only assumed. If you drink a lot of cold water thinking this will make you lose weight, you are an a**. What helps is not shoveling in all those pork rinds, french fries, fast foods, candy bars, ice cream etc and eating IN MODERATION: fresh fruits, vegetables, small amounts of fish and chicken and GETTING OFF YOUR BUTT
