Also available from Herbalife distributors are targeted health/nutrition products (specifically for heart, digestion, stress, men, women, etc, as well as skin, hair, fragrances etc). They recently released a line of their best workout supplements called 24 Hour Fitness Support.

Herbalife Weight Loss Program – ShapeWorks™


The ShapeWorks™ program is available for weight loss or weight maintenance in several variations (‘quickstart’, ‘advanced‘, ‘ultimate’, and with each of these ‘protein plus’), at regular prices ranging from $US85 to $US210 (discounted prices are available). The program personalizes daily protein intake for your body’s individual needs, with the aim that you feel full, satisfied and energized as you lose your unwanted weight. Included is a seven-day recommended meal plan.

The amount of weight-loss aimed for, and your physical make-up as well as your attitude to pushing towards your objective, will determine how soon you reach it and the extent that the ongoing cost of reordering supplies will mount up. The initial pack will last perhaps 11 to 15 days at the recommended rate of consumption.

Tips:
  • Individuals weighing over 100Kg/220pounds or wanting to lose 23Kg/50pounds or more may add one extra tablespoon of Protein Powder to their shakes. Also, men may have two snacks a day if hungry and weight-loss goals permit.
  • Replace 1 meal a day (instead of 2) to just maintain your weight.
  • Take advantage of all available flavors of shake and drink mixes.
  • Drinking water is important.
  • Exercise several times a week.

Sample Meal

GRILLED CITRUS SNAPPER (2 servings)
Ingredients:¼ cup bottled citrus marinade¼ cup green onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp minced fresh ginger root

1 pound red snapper filets

Directions:
  • Prepare marinade by combining the first four ingredients in a bowl.
  • Then pour marinade over snapper, flesh side down, and let set for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare grill.
  • Remove snapper from marinade and pat dry. Season snapper with salt and pepper.
  • Grill skin side down on an oiled rack set five-six inches over glowing coals for four minutes. Place lid on the grill to cover, grilling snapper until just cooked through for another four minutes.*
  • Carefully transfer snapper with a metal spatula to a platter and remove skin before serving.
  • Serve with steamed asparagus tossed with lemon and garlic.

*NOTE: Alternatively, snapper may be grilled in a hot, well-seasoned grill pan with a lid over moderate heat.

Meal Replacement (Shakes) Variations

With up to 30 meals in every ShapeWorks™ meal replacement container, the shakes can be used to make lots of variations, for drinks and for snacks (muffins, cookies, bars and pies). Here are two examples.

CHOCOLATE – MINT SHAKE
2½ tbsp/37mlMeal Replacement (French )Vanilla

Directions:
  • Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
PEANUT BUTTER PIE
1 cup/250mlMeal Replacement (Dutch chocolate or French Vanilla)
2½ cups/625mlSkim milk
1 packageWhite chocolate sugar-free instant pudding mix
¼ cup/60mlPeanut butter
1Ready made chocolate pie crust, 8″/20x20cm
Directions:
  • Mix Meal Replacement and milk together.
  • Add pudding and peanut butter mix well and pour into crust.
  • Chill one hour.
  • Add fat free, non-dairy whipped topping.

Is ShapeWorks™ suitable for everyone?

Weight loss programs like this, while effective for many, are not necessarily suitable for all. Although the program supplies at least 1000 calories daily and is nutritionally complete, there is a heavy reliance on Herbalife powders and pills. The suggested rate of weight loss (up to 3.5Kg/7½ pounds weekly) is too high for most people to sustain. In addition, reliance on a specific product does not teach healthy, lifelong eating habits. Maintaining a successful healthy lifestyle is a long-term thing that extends beyond the program itself, so you need to continue lifelong habits of good nutrition, fitness, and exercise.

The Herbalife ShapeWorks Weight Loss Program may become costly when adding the ongoing additional expenses of meal replacement shakes and supplements to your initial outlay to join the program of your choice. Conversely, making a large financial commitment might help to stay motivated.

    I hv been badly cheated by the one who sold me herbalife products, he offered me 40 % discount on MRP,if i buy 4 months products together from him, i went for the option, later when i called that person for the diet plan so the mobile went switched off, i tried n tried but no response, from someone else i came to know that he was winding his business n wanna retain his investments, oh my god, what a shit man, there were tears in my eyes i ₹30000, out of which i borrowed 80% from a friend, i m a mother of 2 little kids, 31 years old, 5 feet tall, n standing at 92 kgs of weight, i already was spending everyday wid tears as i hv severe pain in my feet, n now the tears r coz of other reason, is there anyone who can help, i hv many many boxes of different sizes, different names..     You must trust before you start any program. May it be Herbalife or normal exercise & Diet regime. Following it up in a scheduled manner will definately gives one the desired result.

    I had tried all the possible methods to loose weight. But nothing worked out.

    Then I got introduced to “HERBALIFE”. Its been a third month ongoing. I follow the mentioned diet & water intake. Its working amazingly. I lost 6.5 kiloes in two months. Very very rarely I cheat.

    I am feeling great & certainly going to continue till I achieve the desired result.

    I am planning to replace my 2 meals ( breakfast and Dinner) with F-1 +F-3 milk shake. Lunch is going to normal one with lots of salad. I am also going to take Multi vitamin, cell u lose , activated fiber and cell activator tablets 3 times a day.

    I just finished the 90 day challenge and I tell you herbal life works provided you don’t cheat. I lost around 45 lbs in 90 days. Take the instructions from your coach seriously and just follow the plan and it will work. yes it does take time to adjust to new eating habit faster you get use to it the better results one can get. Me and my wife both joined together and we have achieved amazing results.

        Hi, im doing herbalife since 2 days ago, but honestly i don’t trust my distributor that much. i’ve been told to consume all the tablets which are multivitamin, fiber, activator and cellulos (2 tablets because they ran out of lipo) 3 times a day, and mix the aloe, nrg, herbal concentrate with 1.5 liters of water and drink it all day + i have to drink 2 liters of water daily.
        honestly the mixing tea quiet difficult for me, instead of full (comfortable full) feeling, i feel bloat.
        And i accidentally read that the cellu should be taken before meal.
        i really need advice about consuming herbalife. need help pleasee ,,

        Remember that your distributer sells herbalife to make money. The more you buy, the more he makes. In any event I think these products are a waste of money. There is no legitimate evidence that their weight loss products produce better results than someone on a low calorie healthy diet including a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit.

      I have come across this before If you take the program as told to you when you purchased it you will get results what I would do is adjust the way you structure your day for eg

      1 Breakfast one nutritional shake F1
      2 around 11am healthy snack fruit or nuts for eg
      3 lunch one nutritional shake F1
      4 around 3 pm healthy snack
      5 Dinner healthy meal plenty of veg make it colorful we eat with our eyes

      there may be a need to look at your protein needs but dnt worry it is all fixable plus you also need to drink water through the day allot of times we think we are hungry and our body needs water this is because our brain can not differentiate between hunger for solid food and hunger for water therefor it sends the same signal the way to overcome this is to understand weather the hunger came on fast or over a period of time if fast drink water it will subside if the second option try a snack hope this helped.

I’m a rice eater but when I started in herbalife in only eat less a cup of brown rice Anf fish. I’m always constipated I drink plenty of water and eat fruits and veggies..

    i am confused regarding the water intake….my sponsor told me i must drink 70% of my weight…… my weight is 72 kg….. if 70% of 72 kg = 54 kg…..then he told me i have to take 5.4 liter. when i went to Nutrition club..some told me they drink 10L per day and another person told me 22L per day. I think this is dangerous..coz i have read..to much water can cause death….hope someone can explain to me…thank you

      you need only 1 liter water on every 20 kg weight for maintain and 1 liter extra for weight loss thats fine

      Just use water only… your Weight divide by 20

      means if u r 72 kgs
      it means 72 divide by 20 is equal to 3.6 liters water only

      @ patrick you can take only 3 nd half litr of water….. we suggest 1 litr water for every 20 kg…… and u r 72 ..so u have to tak only 3 nd half litr water

    This is what I am having currently:

    Breakfast: 1 spoon of formula 1, 300ml of milk/soymilk

    Lunch: Normal (but I try to cut down on rice/noodle etc)

    Dinner: 1.5 spoon of formula 1, 300ml of milk/soymilk

    Can anyone tell me if I am on the right track?

      You need to do 2 scoops of F1 shake per meal, with 250ml milk top up with water to 300ml if you like.

      Remember your 1 piece of fruit mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
      Also your minimum of 2 litre of water per day.

      Let your health coach determine your needed protein intake and make sure you get to your protein target – this is key!

    If I have a shake morning and lunch times, made with fruit juice and frozen berries, for dinner il have a healthy meal with lots of veg, and ill have 2 snacks a day, a yogurt or fruit. Ill have between 2-3 litres of water a day. I only take the powder for weight loss, no othesupplements. I will try walk 1hour a day and am starting ’30 day shred’, my question iscan I lose 14 pounds in 9 days?

    You have to use the F1 powder with the protein drink mix. This is the only way I feel full. Plus it took me 2-3 weeks to get used to drinking shakes and not eating (munching) on meals. My brain wanted me to eat more bc I was used to chewing food not slurping down a shake. I have been doing herbalife now for 6 weeks and it is so easy now. I crave the shakes now and I stay full.

    Lauren, in your shake, you should be having 2 tablespoons of shake or 35 g. You are also allowed two snacks, so something like a piece of fruit and then a herbalife protein snack bar or almonds. For dinner, make sure you are getting enough protein and then lots of veg. Add some wholegrain carbs like brown rice if you feel you need it. Give your body a few days to adjust to its new level of calories. I felt hungry for the first week and eventually my body adjusted. Hunger is ok! Also, dont forget the old trick of getting lots of water, hunger and thrist are often confused by the body. Best of luck!

    Hi, I started herbalife 2 days ago and I’m really struggling with it. The shakes don’t fill me up at all. I’m not taking any of the vitamins etc as that plan was much more expensive and I cannot afford it. So my plan is 250ml milk with 2 tbsp of the F1 powder for breakfast and lunch and then a healthy dinner. During the day I still feel so hungry and I’m really trying not to give in! Also in the evening I feel like snacking. Has anyone got any advice?

      You must add protein to your shakes i cant stress enpugh on how important protein is in your diet. Protein will he. lp u feel full longer and also adding my suggestion, fiber powder to the shake. Water water water and more water nothing else. And high protein low carb low fat fish/chicken and not farmed raised fish no omega 3 peppers onions garlic and veggies an fruit n exercise 3 to 4 times a week and in 5 mouths i lost 55 pound s 250 to 195. Everyonesdfferent but are bodies all require the same things nutriention wise. Keep your head up

      speak to your Herbalife coach for the information you need. It is possible to lose 5kg in a week if you don’t cheat. Look at what you are putting in your healthy meal and check how much water you are drinking. I lost 5kg in a week. Have you checked your measurements against what they were when you started as I have lost 40cm of body fat overall and can now do my jeans up. Good luck and stick with it.

      Hello,
      I’ve read up about rice in diets, and it’s not that eating rice makes you lose less weight, it’s the time of day in which you eat the rice.
      Rice is a complicated carb, and takes more energy for it to break down. I’m not an expert on it really, but my advice would be to have the meal with rice in the morning only.
      I’ve been on diets before, and it really does make a difference at what time of day you eat the rice. I noticed I loose 4-5 lbs more a month from eating rice (with diets that include rice) in the morning than in the afternoon or at dinner time.
      I’m 149 lbs at 5’6″, and I still eat rice in the morning (instead of cereal)
      If you have any more questions about the rice thing or just think I’m full off bull, check out Dr. Oz’s site, I did his diet with rice in the morning.
      I’ve also done Herballife before, I recommend both, they both work :)

      Honestly, keep doing the diet, just start to walk or even lift weights (and by weights, I mean cans of soup). It could just be because you need to become more active– and if you are already active, be MORE active.
      I used to promote body by Vi and the biggest challenge people had was once they stopped losing weight, they’d stop the diet, even though they still had a month left– people who stuck it out started losing weight again.
      Remeber in every diet, there will be a point in which you will see a dramatic decrease in the speed where you lose weight.
      And if it’s inch loss, you’re doing everything right. Your body is building muscle at this point in the diet while burning fat. Kepp it up sounds like your doing really well
